The Soils and Fertilizers Research Institute welcome and worked with chargé d'affaires ad interim of Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam
On January 13, 2021, the Soils and Fertilizers Research Institute was pleased to welcome the visitors from the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam to visit and work with the Institute. Attending the meeting were Assoc. Dr. Tran Minh Tien, Director of the SFRI; Dr., Nguyen Quang Hai, Deputy Director of SFRIl and the leaders of Department of Science & International Cooperation, leaders of some Research Departments of the Institute. Representative of the Embassy of Ukraine was Ms. Nataliya Zhynkina, chargé d'affaires ad interim of Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam.
During the meeting, Ms. Nataliya Zhynkina emphasized that the two governments have a lot of cooperation activities, of which agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Ukraine is also one of the priorities. Ms. Nataliya Zhynkina said Ukraine boasts scientific and technological advances with high quality and lower costs. In the agricultural sector, Uraina's fundamental research is very strong and developed. Ukraine has many products on organic and microorganisms with good quality, and would like to transfer these products and technologies to Vietnam.
The SFRI leaders also mentioned some priorities and concern in research and transfer of the Institute. The SFRI with the function of Transfer-Research in the fields of soils, fertilizers and microbiology is a suitable organization for cooperation. The director of SFRI also would like to promote some collaboration with Ukrainian Universities and Institutes in the related fields.
